Do you have room for a narrow / high drawered dresser in any room? As far as storing a comforter, etc. Put them on the top shelf of your closet or the spare one.
    Hope this helps.

Belive it or not, (I didn’t) I had a house built in KY where we forgot to plan for a linen closet. We used a beautiful armoire at the end of the hallway which suited the purpose beautifully and made a wonderful statement at the end of the hall. The top part which was really meant for a TV is great for storing towels and sheets and the drawers are practical for storing table linens. I imagine a buffet would work as well if it had a center section which opened with doors to inside shelves.

The armoire idea is good. Another option is a cedar chest. I found a nice old one for about $ 100, and it has been storing rarely used linens and out-of-season clothing nicely for years.

Plus, it naturally keeps bugs away.
